MBA in times of COVID-19
MBA is a life-changing experience. It gives you a perspective that has the potential to change your life. For me, it definitely was one.
MBA is also a huge investment not only of your time but also economically. Most of the applicants are at a critical juncture of their life. Now would it be wise to spend the most precious 1 or 2 years of your life & probably a loan for the next 5 years of your life to do an MBA during the time of COVID.
Well, the MBA answer to this is "It depends". But, I will share my perspective and what I feel should be done. This is neither right nor wrong, just my way of looking at things.

I believe COVID will certainly change the world & the way businesses operate in it. MBA might be a great platform to learn that & experience the change in an environment which gives you the opportunity to experiment & learn. Moreover, the next 2 years are set to be economically troubling for most of the industries & it would make some sense to get out of the work & career industry for a while & focus on your studies during these troubling times.
As far as the MBA experience is concerned, I certainly believe it will change but not for good or bad, it will change in a unique manner & will certainly be helpful to MBA students post their MBA life.
For me personally, this is as good a time as any to do your MBA.
